Best Latin sites

Latin.About.com is without a doubt, the best. and most comprehensive of all of the Latin sites. The only thing bad about it is that it is too comercalized.

Latin runner up:
eleaston.com a very good site! Not quite as good as the one above, but still worth its weight in salt.

Second runner up:
www.latin.org- Gives any of the ones listed above a run for their money!

Best Roman History site:

ancienthistory.about.com -Very comprehensive, but once again is plagued with the problem of too much comercalization.

Best Latin text site:

Latin Texts -A very good place for Latin Texts, either in Latin, or english. The english translation of the word will pop-up if you click on any of the Latin words.

Online latin-English translator A must see! Plus, there is no need for downloading software! (Although you must have a Java^tm enabled Browser).

~vroma - Has links to litteraly hundreds of sources that deal with latin, and the Roman culture.
